About Town & Country Planning Assam Recruitment

The recruitment drive by the Directorate of Town & Country Planning Assam aims to hire experienced professionals for urban planning, GIS mapping, and architectural development projects across the state. Educational Qualification

1. Specialist Architect

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
  • Master’s Degree in Urban Design / Landscape Architecture / Architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architectural design, urban planning, and landscaping projects.

2. Senior GIS Expert

  • M.Sc / M.Tech / MA in GIS / Geography / Remote Sensing & GIS / Geomatics / Geo Informatics
    OR
  • B.Plan / M.Plan with GIS & Remote Sensing

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in GIS spatial analysis.

3. GIS Assistant

  • M.Sc / M.Tech / MA in Remote Sensing & GIS / Geo Informatics / Geomatics / Geography
    OR
  • B.Plan / M.Plan with GIS & Remote Sensing

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS spatial analysis.

Skills Required:

  • GIS software knowledge (ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper)
  • AutoCAD
  • GIS data processing and field data collection.
