About the DEE Assam Recruitment

Educational Qualification & Experience
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university established by or under a Central/State Act or recognized by UGC.
- Must have a valid enrollment certificate/license from any Bar Council in India at the time of application.
- Minimum 5 years of continuous practice as an Advocate in Courts/Tribunals within Assam, including the High Court, preferably on the service side.

- LLB Pass Certificate and Mark Sheets
- Copy of valid Bar Council License / Photo Identity Card
- Practice Certificate issued by the Bar Council
OR - Certificate issued by a designated Senior Advocate
OR - Certificate issued by an Advocate having minimum 15 years of standing at the Bar
- Self-attested copies of all relevant documents
- Original documents for verification at the time of interview
Age Limit
- The candidate must not be more than 60 years of age as on 01.01.2026.
- Age will be calculated based on Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate.
- No other document will be accepted for age proof.
