Assam Land Records Assistant Recruitment 2026: The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys Assam has released a new employment notification for the recruitment of 552 Land Records Assistant (LRA) posts.

Eligible candidates who have completed the Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) from the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre can apply online through the official portal sebaonline.org.

Reservation of posts will be announced as per Government of Assam reservation policy before the written examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

  1. Must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  2. Must have completed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati.
  3. Must have computer proficiency with minimum 30 words per minute typing speed in Assamese or Bengali.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years
  • Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025.

Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per Assam Government rules.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of two stages:

1. Written Examination (80 Marks)

Objective type MCQ examination with the following subjects:

  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

2. Skill Test (20 Marks)

  • File handling
  • Printing & document formatting
